How the website works

Getting Started

Log-in, passwords and navigation of the website.

Navigating the REA website

This is easy! Use the tabs situated across the top of the page to access sub-sections of the site (Events, Members, News & Info etc). The blue-grey bars along the top and down the side show where you are in the website structure. Further details are given here.

Logging-in

You can log in by clicking on the 'Log in' tab at the top right of the page. Use the user name and password you entered when you registered. Please note the log-in is case sensitive.

When you have successfully logged in you will see your name, or the company name, appear at the top right of the screen.

Use 'My folder' near the top right of the screen to access your user area at any time. Use 'Preferences' to change your personal data (e.g. email address) or password.

Your password

If your have forgotten your password contact webservices@r-e-a.net, who will generate an email to re-set your password. Follow the instructions in this email to reset your password.

Privileges

Each user has an assigned level of privileges. Some users are allowed to edit content in their members' area. The main contact who first joins up is automatically assigned as a website administrator and can edit content and manage the other users from that member.

Editing website content

If you are authorised to edit content on the website, an extra editing toolbar will appear at the top of any pages you are able to edit. Details on how to do so are given here.
