The four such 'virtual' sector groups currently in operation are:

The Ground Source Energy Group

dealing with ground source heat pumps. We are considering whether air source heat pumps should also be covered by this group or in a separate one.

The Hydropower Liaison Group

dealing with hyropower at all scales and liaising with the British Hydropower Association, and other bodies representing mill owners and other interested parties.

The Solar Heating Liaison Group

involved in solar thermal systems for both domestic and non-residential use, and working in collaboration with the Solar Trade Association.

The Wind Liaison Group

collaborating with the British Wind Energy Association on issues relating to onshore and offshore wind energy.
