The REA website

Using this website

We have tried to make this website as useful for you as possible

In this section you will find an introduction to renewables for some of the groups likely to need information on renewables (see the list on the left).

Other useful start-points

We recommend you also visit the News & Info section where the Frequently Asked Questions section is often a good place to start, while Useful Links shows many other websites where you can get relevant information. The facts and figures page gives certain key data about the industry and calculators you can use to get estimates of useful data, such as the output or carbon saving of a renewable energy project, number of households electricity served etc. And in an industry rich in acronyms and buzzwords, the Glossary section is an invaluable ‘jargon buster’.

Navigation

The tabs along the top of the page show the main sections of the website. Click on any of them to access that section and to get a list of its contents. The blue-grey bar down the left hand side shows the section and each sub-section in the website hierarchy relevant to the page you are on. The blue-grey bar at the top also summarises the 'filepath' to this page.

The site map showing the structure of the entire website is available through a link at the bottom right hand corner of every page.

Some content on the site is only available to certain users. To access this content, users will need to log in with their user name and password. In some cases they will also need particular privileges to reach the item they want.

Searches

To find selected REA members, use the members' directory and select at the top the categories you are looking for.

All the content of the website is indexed and you can look for particular topics or names using the Search box at the top right of the page.

Type in there the word or words you are looking for and a list of potentially relevant items will appear.
