Anglian Water have set the aspirational target of generating around 25% of the energy used by the business (Anglian Water’s current energy demand is around 700 GWh/year) from renewable sources by 2015. Even with current plans for two wind turbine sites and to increase the percentage produced from biogas CHP, there is still a 10% gap in meeting this target. All the key Anglian Water managers involved in the renewable energy strategy and procurement will be devoting a day to talk in detail about the challenges and the opportunities. They want to meet with companies in the renewable energy sector that can work with them to close this 10% gap.
Don’t miss this unique opportunity to explore the possibility of providing renewable energy solutions to one of the UK’s biggest water companies. For more details please click here.
