Judging criteria
In considering entries the judges will be consider the following factors:

Timescale: This award will consider achievements over the length of the individual’s career in renewables.

Suitability: The ‘fit’ with the above criteria for this award category and adherence to the awards guidelines.

Excellence: The personal commitment of the individual to renewable energy and the extent to which he/she has pioneered developments in the sector.

Achievement: The successes achieved in expanding the market, technology or uptake of renewables.

Dedication: The extent to which the nomination represents exceptional efforts ‘above and beyond the call of duty’ or job requirements of the nominee.

Award-worthiness: The extent to which this will act as an inspiration to others. Has this person shown the exceptional qualities that should be recognised with the prestige of an award?
The judges may give secondary consideration to balance, to encourage e.g. organisations that have not previously won awards, all sectors and regions of the renewable energy industry, entrants of varying sizes and stages of development.
