This section also covers the British Renewable Energy Awards, presented at the Gala Dinner, which is the highlight of the renewables year.

Annual REA Conferences

The REA hosts a series of conferences each year, including:

• The Onsite Renewables Conference, in the spring
• The REA Annual Conference, on the Thursday nearest to Midsummer’s Day
• The Awards Gala Dinner, on the evening of the Annual Conference
• The Bioenergy Conference, covering biomass, bioenergy and biofuels
• The Wave and Tidal technologies Symposium, in the autumn

These are seen as the primary events for the relevant sections of the renewables industry and so present excellent opportunities for sponsors to raise their profile within the field.

The REA arranges many other seminars, meetings, conferences and exhibitions open to members and others.

We co-sponsor the Finance Network for Sustainable Energy (FinNeSse) together with the UK Social Investment Forum.

Our sector groups each have their own schedule of meetings and activities.
