The 7th annual Wave and Tidal Technology Symposium took place on 22 September at the Leasowe Castle on the Wirral.
The event was a great success with David Kidney, Energy and Climate Change minister, making some important announcements in the morning followed by the launch of the joint statement with Natural England by James Marsden and a special update from the Carbon Trust on the Marine Energy Proving Fund.
Other highlights included: a visit to the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory (21st Sept.), a gala dinner at the Leasowe Castle (21st Sept.), an exhibition alongside the conference.
