The REA has contacted all known biomass heat installation companies inviting them to take part in a survey of the UK's renewable heat projects.
Either use our online questionnaire (user friendly for a smaller number of projects), or download the excel spreadsheet from the link.
If you would prefer to get your data to us another way, contact Susan Pelmore, spelmore@r-e-a.net. The information from this questionnaire will be used for a new Renewable Heat map of the UK. We are initially collecting data on biomass heat-only installations, but intend to expand the survey to cover other renewable heat technologies. It is part of a data collection exercise for BERR (the former DTI), Defra, the Carbon Trust and the Forestry Commission. It is being carried out jointly in order to reduce your administrative burden.
We are not specifying a minimum size of project, but are not collecting data on household installations. Please answer as many questions as you can. If you have queries, contact Susan Pelmore on 020 7747 1843 / spelmore@r-e-a.net
