The Organics recycling group of the REA are delighted to announce that they will be organising a sector group meeting at the White Moss head office site situated at Kirkby, Liverpool on the 16th May

White Moss Horticulture which was recently acquired by Bord Na Mona is one of the leading manufacturers of quality compost that specialise in the production and bagging of growing media products for the retail trade, landscapers and amenity horticulture. The site produces PAS 100 certified compost with 0-10mm compost being the principal grade used in their growing media products. Inputs to the site come from local councils, landscapers and civic amenity sites.

Further information on White Moss can be found on their website including work they have carried out to restore over 120 hectares of redundant peat bogs to a wetland conservation area.

13.30 - Site Visit (Allow about 2 hours)

It is the responsibility of all site visitors to provide their own PPE which as a minimum should include a HI Vis jacket, hard boots and a safety helmet. There will be a limited number of PPE sets available on site.
