Joining the REA
You can apply online - when following our step-by step instructions it couldn't be easier!
Alternatively fill out a membership application form , send it to us, and will contact you.
REA members who provide systems to public and non-industrial consumers are required to join the Renewable Energy Assurance Scheme.
Membership grades
We have four corporate grades of membership for companies with renewable energy businesses, depending on their turnover:
- Over £100m
- £10m to £100m
- £1m to £10m
- Under £1m
We also have separate grades for:
- Sole traders & companies with fewer than six employees whose primary business is farming or retail sales/services to the public
- Non-corporate organisations including academic institutions, regional & local bodies and NGOs
- Individual consultants and Those in the process of establishing a new renewable energy related business
- Private individuals not employed by companies eligible to be corporate or associate members
- Full time students
- Membership organisations which are prepared reciprocally to treat the REA as a member
