On 26th June 2026, Ofgem published their minded-to decision for the Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) cap and floor regime. This concerns projects that applied for the first cap and floor window (Window 1).

The minded-to decision is accompanied by a consultation – the REA will respond to this before the deadline (7th August 2026).
