REA AGM Meeting

The REA will be hosting its AGM at 1:30PM on Thursday, 11th December 2025 and all REA members are invited. The venue will be our office at York House, 23 Kingsway, London WC2B 6UJ and there will be a buffet lunch from 12:30PM where you will be able to network with other REA members and meet the REA team and the Board members.

At the AGM we will be holding the election one REA Member Non-Executive Director Board position. The election has come about due to Vijay Shinde completing his 3-year term. There has been a lot of interest this year in being a director of the REA and we have four candidates standing. The Board members are your representatives, so please take time to review their applications and cast your vote.

We will also be asking members to vote on the proposed acquisition of the Geothermal Advancement Association (GEAA). This represents an exciting opportunity to consolidate representation of the geothermal energy sector and will put REA in a leading position when representing the sector. The acquisition is supported by both associations boards and will be welcomed by much of the geothermal sector.

The AGM will also cover the REA’s performance during 2025 and plans for 2026. You will be able to ask questions of the Board and senior management team and the candidates standing for election.
