The meeting will discuss policy and advocacy being spearheaded by the REA and its members including recent Ministerial changes and how our strategy will pivot in light of new political head winds. The meeting will also touch on the so called ‘Manchesterism’ and policies of the new PM and DESNZ Secretary of State and how we will position geothermal in the domestic energy mix. There will also be discussion on the recent successive heat waves and how geothermal can play a critical role in cooling the country.
