Getting support from the RTFO for Biomethane

The rules for the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) will change on 1st April, to make it easier for biomethane producers to access Renewable Transport Fuel Obligation (RTFO) support. Previously, producers could only get support as a transport fuel by giving up an entire quarter of RHI. The new rules give flexibility to producers to choose what proportion of their injection over a quarter they wish to claim RHI on.

We’ve put together an event to help producers and suppliers understand how the new system will work in practice. Speakers:

Tom Reid – Department for Transport
Name tbc – Ofgem
Jesse Scharf – Green Gas Certification Scheme
David Hurren – Air Liquide

This event will take place from 10am-12.30pm on Wednesday, 21st April 2021. Book your place now!
