The Government has published a consultation on reforming the Capacity Market to better align the mechanism with the Government’s net zero and energy security targets. Building upon the results of the Government’s Call for Evidence in July 2021, this consultation makes firmer proposals for several reforms to the Capacity Market. The REA is holding a members meeting, Thursday 16th February, 3pm – 4.30pm (online), to discuss, update, and receive feedback from members on the proposed reforms to the Capacity Market outlined in the consultation. Please register by clicking on the button above.
