Purpose of the meeting:

The Government has published a consultation on the treatment of multiple incentives and eligibility for the RTFO. This will affect both the main obligation and the planned Sustainable Aviation Fuel mandate.

The new rules will affect fuels (and chemical precursors – such as biomethane used to make hydrogen) produced anywhere in the world. There is also the potential for impacts on CC(U)S policy.
