This is the first meeting of a new REA working group, looking at sustainable aviation fuel. The publication of the Prime Minister’s 10-point plan in November featured a number of commitments on moving towards ‘jet zero’, including funds for innovation and a ‘sustainable aviation fuel mandate to blend greener fuels into kerosene’. UK hosting of COP26 has also provided a focus for government efforts.

We’ll be looking at the current picture and seeking member’s views on how best to represent their views in this fast-moving area.
