While based in the UK, the Renewable Energy Association has extensive experience providing high-quality, international opportunities for our members and international partners.
- We act as an international connector — enabling investment into the UK, finding our members opportunities to invest overseas, and connecting our members into key, international events.
- We advocate on international policy which will inevitably impact UK markets and our members.
- We engage with UK Ministers and MPs on domestic issues, who are sharing the same international policy space.
- We conduct research on international policy issues, and their relevance to the clean energy sector and the UK.
We are currently focused on building our 2026 London Climate Action Week, COP31 (entering our fifth year providing Blue Zone Pavilion services), and Ukraine / UK Business Delegation programmes.
See further details below.
Please contact James Heath, our International Lead, at [email protected] if you have interest in any of the above or wider opportunities in the international space.
London Climate Action Week brings international investors, policymakers, and partners to London – right on the doorstep of the REA.
We will be running several events during LCAW with both local and global brands. These events – ranging from one-off public panels to executive-level receptions – are unique opportunities for partners to reach several senior stakeholders during a single week.
If you are interested in event partnership, please reach out now.
Furthermore, with over 700 events and 45,000 attendees last year, it can be just as challenging for first-timers as it is for experienced attendees to build an effective agenda. The REA is therefore offering support for broader LCAW attendance. We can leverage our existing connections, and the efficiency gains from doing this for several partners, to ensure this week returns maximum value for your business.
If you are interested in support for your broader LCAW attendance, you are welcome to reach out now however we will offer this again later in the year.
COP31 is the REA’s headline international offering. The REA can offer:
-
COP31 Attendance – facilitating individual or company attendance to COP31, including support with accommodation and agenda planning.
-
Virtual COP31 Attendance – facilitating individual or company attendance to the virtual elements of COP31.
- Events Partnership – hosting tailored Blue Zone events, from evening receptions to panels, roundtables with tailored communications.
-
Pavilion Partnership – joining the official REA Pavilion in the COP31 Blue Zone, with hosted events (including Official UNFCCC Side Events), private meeting spaces, and Blue Zone passes.
While COP31 is in November, the REA are actively holding partnership conversations now with the aim to finalise these in the coming months. We strongly encourage you to to reach out now.
