NOTICE: THE APPG NO LONGER EXISTS.

With the dissolution of Parliament on 30th May 2024, the APPG has ceased to exist. All information contained on this web page is for reference purposes only. If you are interested in the REA’s work on geothermal energy, please do get in touch with us at [email protected].

Statement of Purpose

The APPG on Deep Geothermal was established to bring together parliamentarians to share information and ideas, and to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop a new British growth industry that is key to energy security and net zero, with the long-term goal of deep geothermal to become a mainstream renewable energy source in the UK.

This is not an official website [or feed] of Parliament.  It has not been approved by either House.  APPGs are informal groups of Parliamentarians with a common interest in particular issues.  The views expressed are those of the group.
